A legacy of learning and service
The Ousman Bun Affan School for Memorization of the Holy Qur’an and Islamic Studies is based in Bundung, The Gambia. It was founded on 1 September 2011 by Ustaz Ebrima Ousman Dampha in honour of his late father, Sheikh Ousman Dampha.
Since its establishment, the school has carried forward the mission of teaching the Book of Allah and nurturing a generation that lives by its values.

Growing together under the Qur’an
Since its founding, the school has graduated 33 male and female students who completed memorization of the Holy Qur’an. Our students represent diverse communities including Mandinka, Wolof, Soninke, Fula, Jola and Hausa.
